Use this guide when your organization is starting with Syntage through the dashboard. You will invite users, create an entity, complete onboarding, and review the information Syntage retrieves.

Create or access your organization

Go to app.syntage.com and sign in. If your organization has not been created yet, complete the registration flow or contact your Syntage contact so your organization can be set up with the correct plan and permissions.

Invite your team

Each person should use their own user. This keeps permissions, notifications, and auditability tied to the person taking the action. To invite a user:
  1. Open Users.
  2. Click Add user.
  3. Enter the user’s name, email, and role.
  4. Save the user.
The user receives an email invitation to create their password and activate access.

Create your first entity

An entity is the person or company your organization evaluates in Syntage. To create an entity with the dashboard:
  1. Open All Entities.
  2. Click Add entity.
  3. Select the datasources you need.
  4. Enter the entity’s RFC or legal name, depending on the selected datasources.
  5. Complete the flow or share the onboarding link when the entity needs to authorize access.
Some datasources are public and can be requested directly from the dashboard. Private datasources, such as SAT and Buró de Crédito, require authorization from the entity.
For SAT onboarding, the entity provides a CIEC password or e.firma access. Syntage encrypts credential material immediately and uses it to retrieve SAT information for the entity.

Review reports and data

After the first extractions finish, open the entity from All Entities. The entity view is organized around:
AreaUse it for
ReportsProcessed indicators, analysis, summaries, and charts for decision-making
DataSource records, raw structured data, and original files such as PDFs, XMLs, and Excel files
Reports help teams review an entity quickly. Data gives analysts and operations teams the underlying records used to validate, audit, or build custom analysis.

Download or export information

Many report and data sections support downloads. Use Exports when you need to take data out of Syntage for internal analysis, files, or operational handoffs. Exports do not create new extractions. They download information that Syntage has already retrieved. Before using Syntage with production workflows, create at least one test entity, run each datasource your team expects to use, review the resulting reports and data, and confirm your users understand how the information fits your internal process.
