RUG resources come from Mexico’s Registro Unico de Garantias Mobiliarias. Use RUG data when your integration needs movable collateral guarantees, guarantee registration details, or the registry operations associated with a guarantee. RUG records are collected by running a RUG extraction. The extraction searches RUG for the entity, stores guarantees, stores related operations, and attaches available operation files as file resources.

How RUG Data Works

  1. Start a RUG extraction for the entity.
  2. Poll the extraction until it reaches a terminal status.
  3. List the entity’s RUG guarantees or RUG operations.
  4. Retrieve a guarantee when you need collateral details and related operations together.
  5. Retrieve an operation when you need the registry act metadata, parsed boleta data, or file reference.
  6. Download referenced files through the Files API when an operation includes a file.
