# Datasources

> Understand the datasources and verification providers that Syntage connects to.

Syntage connects to datasources and verification providers that help your organization understand people and companies in Mexico. The available data can include tax records, invoices, registry filings, credit bureau reports, company verification reports, background checks, guarantees, and product-specific insights.

Datasources define where information can come from. [Extractions](/using-syntage/extractions) define when Syntage retrieves or refreshes that information for an entity.

## Supported areas

These docs currently cover:

| SAT                                                                             | Tax identity, invoices, tax returns, tax status, compliance checks, retentions, certificates, and related files.         |
| RPC                                                                             | Commercial registry data, including entities, actos, and socios.                                                         |
| RUG                                                                             | Security interest guarantees and related operations.                                                                     |
| Buró de Crédito                                                                 | Credit bureau authorizations and reports for people and companies.                                                       |

| BIL                                                                             | Business identity lookup reports.                                                                                        |
| Infonavit                                                                       | Infonavit-related indicators and data where enabled.                                                                     |
| Syntage insights                                                                | Analysis built from retrieved data, such as revenue, expenses, financial statements, risk indicators, and Syntage Score. |
