# RPC entidades

RPC entidades represent companies or legal entities found in the Registro Publico de Comercio for an entity. An RPC entidade can include the registration folio, legal name, corporate purpose, legal regime, registry office, registration date, related actos, and related socios.

Use RPC entidades as the starting point for RPC data. They group the registry acts and shareholder records that were found for the same registered company.

## How RPC entidades are collected

RPC entidades are collected with the RPC extraction. After the extraction finishes, the resulting records are available from the entity RPC entidades list.

## Lookup Types

| Value         | Meaning                                                                    |
| ------------- | -------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
| `entity`      | The RPC entidade was found from the entity search                          |
| `shareholder` | The RPC entidade was found while searching for shareholder-related records |
