# Authorizations

> Buró de Crédito authorizations store the consent and identity data required before creating Buró de Crédito report extractions.

Buró de Crédito authorizations record the consent, RFC, address, and identity data that Syntage uses when requesting Buró de Crédito reports for an entity.

Create an authorization before requesting a Buró de Crédito report. The required taxpayer fields differ for people and companies:

| Entity type | Required taxpayer fields                                                                 |
| ----------- | ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
| Person      | RFC, nationality, birth date, first name, first last name, second last name, and address |
| Company     | RFC, nationality, trade name, and address                                                |

Buró de Crédito requires the authorization address to match its expected Mexico address format. Use the Mexico Addresses resource to normalize addresses before creating an authorization when the source address may not match Buró de Crédito's format.

`authorizedAt` must be a past date and `authorizedUntil` is calculated by the API. Use `isValid` on the authorization response to decide whether a report extraction can use the authorization.
